Next to what you spend on Heating or Cooling your Home (depending on WHERE you live in the Country), your Washer %26amp; Drier consumes the MOST electricity of all your Appliances (the Drier- MORE than the Washer). Of course, a LOT depends on how Old they are %26amp; how often you use them... But if you're like MOST people... -You use them often enough to jack up your Electric Bill- PRETTY good, every month. So if you're REALLY serious about cutting back on your Homes Energy Bill, you'd dry your Clothes on an old-fashion clothes line when you can- %26amp; save yourself a few bucks!!! :)Power consumption and cost of operation for washer/drier?
