Ok Do you think buying this compact washer and dryer is worth it?

I live in a small apartment I think they are the cutest things but I'm still shopping around.Ok Do you think buying this compact washer and dryer is worth it?
if this is your only option because of size constraints, i would be very tempted to try it. we have 2 more little ones than you but some weeks my wife lives in front of the washing machine. when you calculate the money spent each week at a commercial laundromat, in a years time it can add up to a lot. you also have to consider the gas spent traveling back and forth. as a working mother the convenience and time saved are also major issues. the only concern i would have is durability. this unit doesn't have the capacity of a larger commercial machine, this means that you will have to run more loads per week through it.

i would do the math and factor in time saved and the convenience. but if you decide to do it, i would look into purchasing a ';extended warranty'; just to be on the safe side....good luck.

james p: '; I'm not an appliance sales specialist'; and i can tell by looking that this washer is a top loader.Ok Do you think buying this compact washer and dryer is worth it?
if the washer and dryer are high efficiency machines meaning the washer is loaded from the front and not the top then it is worth it..you will use about 70% less water your clothes will come out cleaner and last longer, and they have about the same size capacity as a full size top loading machine about 3.1-3.2cf
If you can squeeze it in, I would recommend a front loader with the dryer stacked on top. I just purchased a front loader and it is amazing. The laundry is cleaner and a full load of towels is wrung out so well, that it only takes 30 to 35 minutes to dry. Twin size comforters are dry in 20. If you don't have the laundry hook-ups though, then the models you are looking at may be your best option.
that is really expensive and you'll never get what you bought them for .if you plan on living in your apartment for 2 years or more and have to use laundry mats then maybe but i wouldn't buy it if it was me . plus i would ask ppl on here how well they clean your clothes .
They cost more than standard size machines and the capacity is about half or less.

If you have the space, then buy the full-size models, you'll also have more selection as well.
I'd say go for it!! A lot of the new condos my builder builds has the stackables in them and haven't heard any complaints yet. Plus you save about half in cost and electric!
