when i changed bearings and seals on 3/4 ton rear end when i unscrewed axle keepers the axle slid out .is there half moon keepers in pumpkin?On 1968 chevy 3/4 ton rearend does the axles hold in by half moon washers to help keep from coming out of hub?
3/4 ton axles don't use the half moon keepers--the axles are held in out by the bearings by retainers...easier to replace an axle on those models.
